Meet our horses

  • A brown horse with a white stripe on its face standing inside a fenced outdoor area at sunset, with trees and a colorful sky in the background.

    ON CAMERA (Kammi)

Kammi is a 12-year-old chestnut Thoroughbred who came to us from Kamloops, BC after retiring from a career on the racetrack. Now embracing a slower pace of life, Kammi is incredibly loving and gentle. She forms deep bonds with her riders, offering a calm and trusting presence that makes her a favorite among those seeking a true connection. Her sweet nature and quiet strength make her a perfect companion for both beginners and experienced riders alike.

  • A brown and white horse standing on sandy ground in a paddock, wearing a bridle and saddle, with trees and a white fence in the background, during sunset.

    PACIFIC PRIDES SPONGEBOB (Bob)

Bob is a welsh pony who’s truly done it all. In his early years, Bob was a stallion, and his legacy lives on through his offspring who have gone on to succeed all across Vancouver Island. With a strong background in three-day eventing and countless miles in the show ring, he’s the definition of a well-rounded, experienced partner. Now a gelding, Bob has gracefully stepped into the role of teacher. He’ll hold you steady through your first trot and, with more advanced riders, still knows how to shine and bring home the ribbons. Reliable, talented, and endlessly kind, Bob is the quiet strength at the heart of our program.

  • Person riding a white horse outdoors, with trees and a white fence in the background.

    AVENS WHISPERING WIND (Whisper)

Whisper is a 23-year-old Connemara pony with a bright spirit and a big personality. Full of energy and always up for an adventure, she’s quick on her feet but always looks after her riders—especially the little ones she adores. Whisper loves kids and has a special way of making them feel confident in the saddle. She thrives on attention, never says no to a treat, and brings heart, joy, and just the right amount of sass to every ride—whether she’s out on the trails or turning heads in the show ring.

  • A person riding a chestnut horse with a white blaze on its face in an outdoor riding arena. The rider is wearing beige riding pants and a black riding jacket, with arms extended outward.

    LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE (Sunny)

Sunny is a beautiful chestnut Quarter Horse cross with a coat that shines almost as brightly as her attitude. With a solid background in the hunter ring and many miles in dressage, she brings experience and a steady presence to our herd. More “whoa” than “go,” Sunny is the ideal match for beginner riders—patient, dependable, and always happy to take things at a relaxed pace. Her calm nature and quiet confidence make her a truly valued member of our team.

  • A young girl riding a black horse with a white face, wearing a black helmet and riding attire, outdoors with other riders in the background, trees and blue sky visible.

    CRUISE CONTROL (Kruzer)

Kruzer is a Welsh pony with a heart as big as his personality. The son of our beloved Bob, he carries on his father’s legacy while bringing a playful and loving spirit all his own. Kruzer is happiest when he’s with his people, always ready for a little attention, a bit of fun, and his next adventure. He especially comes alive in the show ring, where he loves to step up, show off, and give his very best. With his sweet nature, natural talent, and unmistakable presence, Kruzer is a joy to have around and a wonderful reminder of the legacy Bob has created.
