Our Team
Apryl Sweenie
Owner & Coach
With over 20 years of riding experience, Apryl brings a broad range of knowledge, experience, and horsemanship to the program.
Apryl primarily coaches English riding with a focus on hunter/jumper, with an emphasis on helping horse and rider find balance, confidence, and connection with one another. She believes that good riding is about more than simply learning skills—it’s about developing a partnership where both horse and rider can communicate, grow, and succeed together.
For Apryl, riding should be a place where people can express themselves, build confidence, and grow both in and out of the saddle. She is passionate about creating a welcoming equestrian community where riders can support one another, make lasting friendships, and share in the experiences that make horses so special.
Apryl has held CHA Level 2 Western and Level 3 English certifications and is a registered coach with Equestrian Canada. As both an owner and coach, she is dedicated to creating an environment where every rider feels supported while developing their own unique relationship with their horse.
Danielle Mordaunt
Beginner Coach
With over 10 years of riding experience, Danielle brings enthusiasm, encouragement, and plenty of fun to every lesson. She has a natural ability to make new riders feel comfortable and confident, creating a welcoming environment where kids can learn, laugh, and truly be themselves.
Danielle is especially passionate about working with beginner riders and helping them build a strong foundation in their riding. She loves watching riders grow from their very first lessons to confidently stepping into the show ring for the first time.
When she’s not coaching, Danielle enjoys spending time in the saddle with her own horse, Kruzer. Their partnership is a special part of her life and reflects the same love of riding, connection, and fun that she brings to her coaching.
